The county has now expanded this process to other services like transit, animal services and COVID-19 hotspot mapping.

  • Mecklenburg County's Strategic Planning team drives better employee experiences and department-level accountability through regular county-wide Employee Climate surveys. Each department receives employee feedback results that are publicly accessible, and each director commits to specific Employee Experience targets.
